The basket is made from weaved white plastic wicker type material and it is a rectangular box with a lid made from the same material. It is about 40cm by 30cm and 20cm high. There is no inner lining. The picture on Amazon is a good representation of how it appears.
There are handle holes on each side of the box and the lid has a clasp that can be turned to keep the lid closed. It is useful to stop a toddler opening it but otherwise not particularly secure. Don’t leave your money it in under the bed; it hasn’t been designed as a safe. If you wanted, the lock part could be removed to leave a lid that simply opens and closes. . I have used the basket in my bed room to store bits and bobs that are usually left lying around; keys, jewellery, make-up, toiletries and so on. It has made my drawer top look much tidier.
It would be good in any room. It could be a fruit or vegetable container or used in the bathroom. It would be a good base to make your own gifts for a mother to be or a birthday gift. You could fill with gifts and wrap with cellophane and decorate with a ribbon! It is a well made sturdy basket that will fit with most colour schemes.
